Our Commitment

Gospel Life Church is committed to making our website accessible and welcoming to everyone, including people with disabilities.

We believe every person is made in the image of God and should be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. We want everyone to be able to learn about our church, access biblical resources, listen to sermons, register for events, give, request prayer, and connect with our community without unnecessary barriers.

Digital accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We are continually working to improve the accessibility, usability, and clarity of our website.

Accessibility Standard

Our goal is to make this website reasonably accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA, commonly referred to as WCAG 2.2 AA.

These guidelines provide recommendations for making digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, mobility, speech, cognitive, neurological, and learning disabilities.

Although we are working toward this standard, we do not claim that every page or feature of our website currently conforms fully to WCAG 2.2 AA.

Accessibility Features

As we build, maintain, and update our website, we seek to provide:

  • Descriptive page titles and headings

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation

  • Readable text and sufficient color contrast

  • Compatibility with commonly used browsers, operating systems, and assistive technologies

  • Plain, understandable language wherever possible

We also seek to avoid content that flashes rapidly or creates unnecessary barriers for people with sensory, neurological, or cognitive disabilities.

Assistive Technology and Browser Compatibility

Our website is intended to work with current versions of commonly used web browsers and assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnification software, voice-recognition software, keyboard navigation, and browser accessibility settings.

For the best experience, we recommend using an up-to-date browser and operating system. Older browsers, unsupported software, or unusual combinations of assistive technology may not display or operate every part of the website correctly.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some portions of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Possible limitations may include:

  • Older sermon recordings or videos that do not include captions or transcripts

  • PDF documents that have not been fully formatted for screen readers

  • Images that are missing complete alternative-text descriptions

  • Archived content created before our current accessibility practices were adopted

  • Embedded audio, video, maps, calendars, forms, giving tools, registration systems, podcast players, or other services provided by third parties

  • Content shared with us by outside organizations that we do not directly control

We are working to identify and correct these issues as resources permit. When a barrier cannot be corrected immediately, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service in another accessible format.

Third-Party Content and Services

Some features of our website may be operated by third-party providers, such as Wix, Planning Center, Church Center, podcast platforms, video-hosting services, map providers, social-media platforms, or event-registration services.

Although Gospel Life Church does not control the accessibility of every third-party platform, we seek to select and use services that support accessible participation. We welcome reports about barriers encountered while using these services through our website.

Sermons, Podcasts, and Media

We desire for our sermons and teaching resources to be available to as many people as possible. Some older recordings may not currently include captions, transcripts, or written summaries.

Anyone who needs assistance accessing a sermon, podcast episode, video, document, or other resource may contact us. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the content in an alternative format when possible.

This statement primarily addresses accessibility of our website and digital content. We will make reasonable efforts to help individuals and families participate meaningfully in the life and gatherings of Gospel Life Church.
